WBC is a hematology parameter that counts leukocytes in peripheral blood. Leukocytes include several classes—neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils—each with distinct roles in innate and adaptive immune processes. Interpreting Highs and Lows
