4. Moderately Elevated Anti-tTG IgA

This finding may warrant further assessment for celiac disease or related gluten-associated immune activity, particularly if symptoms evolve. At the time of this case, the patient has no known family history of celiac disease.

Toxin Zoomer
Toxin Zoomer may be considered based on the patient’s occupational history as a construction worker, which may involve increased likelihood of exposure to inhaled or environmental toxicants. Multiple categories of environmental toxins have been shown to increase the risk and severity of RA, including pesticides, heavy metals, and volatile organic compounds.
Environmental exposures should be interpreted in the context of the patient’s clinical history, exposure patterns, and provider assessment.
Gut Zoomer
Gut Zoomer may be considered to assess assess gut-joint immune crosstalk, gut dysbiosis, intestinal permeability, and gut inflammation, which have been associated with immune dysregulation and RA pathogenesis.
